The workout I'm sharing with you is simple and fun. It's 8 minutes of high intensity intervals broken up into 2 Tabata workouts, 4 minutes each. Tabata is great when you want to get the most of your workout time! Each workout consists of 8 rounds of 20 second bursts of exercise, with each burst followed by 10 seconds of rest. You can download the Tabata app for free on your smart phone and switch up the exercises as you'd like. Or you can follow along with me!
It's a total body workout using your own body weight. You'll work your upper body, lower body and your core. And, it's super effective! The first Tabata workout alternates between burpees/mountain climbers and squats. The second workout alternates between skaters with floor tap and standing rope climbers.
I would like to warn you ahead of time that the video I am sharing with you is way beyond amateur and I am way out of breath. And... music and technology didn't exactly cooperate- you may want to play your own music in the background.
